FITMENT & SERVICE

Complete repair kits.

Bolts, nuts and small fasteners required when replacing a shock absorber, knuckle, control arm, strut mount or wheel bearing — supplied as kits prepared for the specific installation job.

OEM GUIDANCE

Why replace after removal?

In most cases the vehicle manufacturer requires these fasteners to be replaced every time they are removed and does not recommend reuse.

01

Material fatigue

Suspension bolts and nuts work under high load. Once removed they lose their original properties and are no longer safe for reassembly.

02

Tightening torque

Factory thread coatings, lockers and flange nuts are specified for a defined torque. Reuse increases the risk of loosening or damage.

03

OEM procedure

Vehicle service procedures call for fastener replacement at every disassembly — the same approach as with complete GH modules.
